My research idea
Allow me to share with you my research idea methodology based on the proposed objectives of my project and our tutor's feedback from previous activities:
General
To determine, based on the proposed research, how
students grade 10 and 11 students connect their EFL learning process as an
academic necessity to other academic necessities represented by other subjects,
and to consider how that education impacts both the development of their EFL
linguistic skills and their community and social environment in an integrated
examination system.
Specific:
- To establish what is the students’ level of
command of EFL at the 2 higher levels of secondary education in Cienega by
conducting proficiency and placement tests.
- To connect the study and development of EFL
skills to the other subjects the pupils study at school by making use of
content-based instruction (CBI).
- To analyse the way this knowledge is perceived,
by students to impact the development of the community they live in based on
the results they obtain in during the research and evaluation process of their
EFL instruction with the help of both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
-To integrate ICTs and self-regulated learning to
facilitate EFL skill development testing and foster propositional skills among
students.

The SWOT analysis presents the central characteristics of each type of research, it is also quite concrete and gives good information.
In your research idea, I deduce that the type of research is quantitative, so you need to know how many students have difficulties in language skills that prevent having a level according to the degrees intervened to effectively master English.
Your SWOT is well designed since in it you present the main characteristics of each type of investigation on the other hand
I think that your research idea is relevant when proposing the transversality between the learning of EFL and the other areas of knowledge developed by the students, however, I would advise you to delimit the field of research a little more, that is, take only a group. as a sample and if the project is feasible to extend it to the rest of the groups.
